This notice explains the information VoxGuess uses to operate the game. We do not ask for an account, email address or real name.

Information used

• A random player identifier stored in your browser, used to secure your game requests.
• Your game progress, answers, score and room activity.
• A display name only when you enter one for a room or the leaderboard.
• Previously heard clip identifiers stored in your browser to reduce repetition.

Analytics and hosting

VoxGuess is hosted by Cloudflare. Cloudflare processes ordinary request and security information needed to deliver and protect the site. We use aggregate Cloudflare traffic information and server-side game totals to understand usage; we do not add a cross-site advertising tracker. Google Fonts supplies the site’s typefaces and receives ordinary technical request information when they load.

Retention

Temporary multiplayer rooms are removed after approximately 24 hours. Saved leaderboard entries remain visible until replaced by a better score or removed. Operational solo-game records may be retained to prevent abuse and measure aggregate game performance.

Advertising and affiliate links

VoxGuess does not currently display active advertising. If a clearly labelled affiliate recommendation is enabled, VoxGuess may earn a commission after a qualifying purchase. This notice will be updated before tracking or advertising technology is added.

Your choices

You can remove the locally stored player identifier and listening history by clearing site data in your browser. To request removal of a leaderboard entry, contact us with the displayed name and score.
